Terms & Conditions

By placing a booking with Cocktail Tables & Chairs you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms help ensure a smooth, transparent, and reliable hire experience for all parties.

Hire Period

  • Standard hire is for a minimum of 24 hours.
  • Upon request, hire can be extended up to a maximum of 4 days.
  • Extensions must be arranged in advance and may incur additional charges.

Pricing

  • All prices are subject to change at any time.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, the quoted price is locked in and guaranteed.
  • Prices are exclusive of delivery unless stated otherwise.

Bookings & Availability

  • Bookings are only confirmed once we receive your event details and provide written confirmation (via email or Messenger).
  • Bookings made well in advance will be reconfirmed closer to your event date.
  • Availability is not guaranteed until confirmation is issued.

Identification Requirement

  • The hirer must provide a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s licence or passport).
  • The ID must match the name and contact details provided with the booking.
  • Bookings may be cancelled if valid identification is not provided.

Deposits

  • A refundable deposit may be required, depending on the size and value of the hire.
  • This deposit will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • The deposit will be refunded in full upon the safe and timely return of all hired items in original condition.
  • Deductions may be made for damage, loss, or excessive cleaning.

Delivery & Pickup

  • Flat-rate delivery applies across Sydney Metro, covering both drop-off and collection.
  • Pickup is available from Strathfield, NSW 2137 by appointment only.
  • Delivery and pickup times will be confirmed prior to your event.

Table Covers & Cleaning

  • All table covers include complimentary dry cleaning.
  • Covers must be returned in reasonable condition. Replacement or cleaning fees may apply for damage or heavy staining.

Minimum Order

  • We have no minimum order — you can hire as little or as much as you need.

Care of Hire Items

  • All items must be returned in the same condition as received.
  • The hirer is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage during the hire period.
  • Fees may apply for repair, replacement, or cleaning of damaged items.

Cancellations & Changes

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the event may be eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the event may incur a cancellation fee.
  • Changes to bookings must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
