Eid and Ramadan Celebration Furniture Hire Sydney: Tables, Stools and Setup for Family Gatherings
If you’re organising an Eid celebration or Ramadan gathering in Sydney, you already know the guest list is never small. Between immediate family, extended family, and the neighbours you invited last minute, you’re easily looking at 50 to 100+ guests. That takes furniture — and more than what’s sitting in your dining room.
We hire cocktail tables, bar stools, and cake plinths across Sydney, and we’ve set up for plenty of Eid and Ramadan celebrations since we started in 2019. Here’s how it works and what it costs.
What Works for Iftar Dinners
Iftar is about coming together after a long day of fasting, and the setup needs to feel welcoming. Cocktail tables work well as serving stations — lay out dates, water, soups, and mains across a few tables so guests can help themselves without crowding one spot.
For a backyard iftar with 30-40 guests, three to four cocktail tables as food stations plus a couple of bar stools for older guests or anyone who needs a seat works well. If you’re hosting 60+, six to eight tables give you proper flow.
White furniture is the popular choice for Ramadan and Eid events. It looks clean, suits the occasion, and photographs nicely.
Eid Day Celebrations
Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha gatherings tend to be bigger, louder, and more festive. You’re hosting in the backyard, at a community hall, or across both. Cocktail tables give guests somewhere to put their plates and drinks while they mingle, and they’re easy to spread around the space.
A typical Eid day setup might look like:
- Small gathering (20-30 guests): 3-4 cocktail tables, 6-8 bar stools — $110-$120
- Medium gathering (50-70 guests): 6-8 cocktail tables, 10-15 bar stools — $170-$195
- Large gathering (100+ guests): 10-15 cocktail tables, 20-30 bar stools — $300-$450
Every cocktail table is $20 and comes with a stretch cover in black or white. Bar stools are $5 each in black or white.
The Cake Plinth for Sweets and Dessert Displays
If you’ve ever been to an Eid celebration, you know the sweets table is serious. Baklava, ma’amoul, kunafa, basbousa — it all deserves a proper display.
Our cake plinth hires for $50 and gives your dessert spread a dedicated centrepiece. It’s tall enough to stand out in a room and sturdy enough to hold a full display. A lot of families pair it with a couple of cocktail tables on either side for the rest of the spread.
Delivery to Canterbury-Bankstown and Western Sydney
We’re based in Kingsgrove, which puts us right next to the Canterbury-Bankstown area. That means you’re in our closest delivery zone.
- 0-10km from Kingsgrove (Lakemba, Punchbowl, Bankstown, Roselands): $100 each way
- 10-20km (Auburn, Merrylands, Greenacre, Strathfield): $150 each way
- 20-30km (Parramatta, Liverpool, Campbelltown): $200 each way
Or you can pick up from Kingsgrove for free — plenty of families do this and save the delivery cost entirely.
How the Hire Period Works
Every hire is a 4-day period with no minimum order. So if you only need two tables and a cake plinth, that’s completely fine. You get enough time to set up before the event and return everything after without rushing.
