How to Calculate What You Need

The formula is straightforward:

1. Count your guests

2. Divide by 8-10 — that’s how many cocktail tables you need (not everyone stands at a table at once)

3. Allow 2 stools per table — gives some seating without overcrowding

4. Add a cake plinth if there’s a cake or centrepiece

5. Add delivery based on your zone, or choose free pickup from Kingsgrove

Best for: 20-30 guests on a tight budget

This is a solid setup for a casual backyard party. Three tables give your guests plenty of places to gather, and six stools mean there’s always somewhere to sit. You drive to Kingsgrove, load everything into your car or ute, and return it the same way within the 4-day hire period.

The $170 Setup (Small Event With Plinth)

Best for: 25-35 guests with a cake or centrepiece

Add delivery within 10km of Kingsgrove and the total comes to approximately $370. But pickup keeps it at $170 — that’s a significant saving if you have the right vehicle.
